How often are new recipes added to the recipe database?

New recipes are added to the database every week. You can also submit your favourite recipes and we’ll help you FODIFY them so they are safe for the first phase of the low FODMAP diet.

Are the recipes safe for the first phase of the low FODMAP diet (restriction/elimination phase)?

Yes, our recipes are all safe for the first phase of the low FODMAP diet. Just makes sure you divide the recipe into the recommended number of portions.

When you are ready for the re-challenge and re-introduction phase, we can give you additional resource to help you bring high FODMAP foods back into your diet.

Are the recipes gluten free?

Although the low FODMAP diet isn’t a gluten free diet, over 95% of our recipes have gluten free options. The only exceptions currently are recipes that use oats. In New Zealand and Australia uncontaminated oats are not considered gluten free.

Do you have allergy friendly recipes in the recipe club?

All of our recipes are low FODMAP but we understand that many people have additional food allergies. Each recipe is tagged so you know if it is egg free, nut free, dairy free, soy free and gluten free.

How many recipes are vegan/vegetarian?

We have over 100 vegan recipes and 156 vegetarian recipes in the recipe club/wellness club. We are working to expand this database every week.

Vegetarian recipes may include some egg or low FODMAP dairy products. Vegan recipes do not include any animal products.

Do you have a vegan/vegetarian meal plan?

Not yet but we’re working on it! We know a vegan/vegetarian meal plan is in hot demand and we are building our vegan and vegetarian database so we can start offering this plan in a few months’ time.

What are the weekly meal plans?

Currently we offer four low FODMAP meal plan options to choose from: Summer Vibes Plan, Warm Up Winter Plan, Egg Free Plan, and Dairy Free Plan.

Each week we give you a plan that covers breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for five days of the week. You can then swap recipes in and out based on your preferences using our easy swap function. You can also schedule recipes in the last two days of your week to use up leftovers or explore new recipes.

Each meal plan also comes with a complete shopping list and low FODMAP buying tips to help you navigate the supermarket. Additionally, each recipe is scalable so you can change the quantity you need to make based on the number of mouths you’re feeding.

In the future our plans will be more customizable, however we’re new and it’s taking time to build out the smart technology we need.

What does dietitian reviewed/approved mean?

Each of our recipes, blog articles and e-courses are reviewed by at least one FODMAP trained registered dietitian to make sure it is up-to-date with the latest Monash low FODMAP guidelines and international best practices. You can check out our dietitian team here.

What do the e-courses cover?

We have e-courses that will walk you through the low FODMAP diet. They don’t replace the support you get from your FODMAP trained dietitian, instead they provide supporting material to make your journey easier.

Our FODMAP 101 Course guides you through the first phase of the low FODMAP diet. It helps you understand FODMAP basics, gives you tools and resources to get started, teaches you meal planning and how to adapt your recipes, then helps you troubleshoot. At the end of the course we help you assess if you’re ready to start challenging FODMAPs. This course takes 4 to 5 weeks to complete.

Where can I find the free resources?

We understand that not everyone can afford a subscription, and so we have developed free resources for you to use. You can find our free recipes here and our free blog articles here. Is there a mobile app for the Recipe Club or Wellness Club?

We’re working on it! Right now, you can use the Recipe Club or Wellness Club through your browser on your mobile phone and we’re working hard to make it mobile responsive.

In the coming months we will also be looking at how we can get a mobile app up and running to make life on the go easier

How does billing work?

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of your chosen time period. You can cancel, change or upgrade your plan at any time through your ‘Accounts & Preferences’ page once you have logged in.

Do you offer a refund or free trial?

We don’t currently offer a free trial, however if you feel like you have received no value from our resources you can request a refund within 14 days of signing up.

Are you a dietitian, doctor, gastroenterologist or health care provider who works with patients with IBS or other gut issues?
